Culture. Community. Opportunity.
The Message in Our Music
The Odel Johnson Foundation is a nonprofit rooted in West Covina, California with cultural roots in Jamaica. We use music, creativity, and community connection to open doors for the next generation. From live events to music education, our goal is simple: empower people through sound, pride, and purpose.

Our Mission: Empowering Communities Through Music & Culture
The Odel Johnson Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to building stronger communities through the power of music, culture, and creative expression. From our base in West Covina, California, and through our partnership with Coyote Studios in Los Angeles, we offer youth and community members access to music instruction, performance opportunities, and cultural programs that inspire growth, unity, and pride.

We believe that music is more than sound — it’s a bridge that connects hearts, generations, and communities from Los Angeles to Jamaica.
Youth Music Program at Coyote Studios
In partnership with Coyote Studios in Los Angeles, the Odel Johnson Foundation provides hands-on instruction in music fundamentals, production, and live performance.
Our program offers young musicians a creative and safe space to explore their talents, connect with mentors, and gain real-world studio experience that builds confidence and life skills.
